After following the tragic events at Yountville, we are reminded again about the importance of mental health supportive services to our veterans. Services providers like Pathway Home provide invaluable support for our veterans. The Yountville tragedy only highlights the trauma that our combat veterans live with and the potential dangers that our veteran services staffs live with every day. While this tragedy is a horrible anomaly considering the number of veterans being treated, it does highlight the drastic need for mental health services for our veterans and the ongoing support that our caregivers and supportive service providers deserve.
